Balboa Park
This series of paintings is inspired by Balboa Park in San Diego. There is a cacti garden there, and it was easy to find different ways to paint these beautiful plants. Dimensions are 30" x 30", 24" x 36" and 36" x 36". Oil. All are available.

About Me
Raschel Larsen
I explore the world around me with color, energetic brushstrokes and oil paint. My favorite subjects include landscapes and cityscapes of the northwest and places that I've traveled to. My artwork has been shown at the Umpqua Valley Art Festival, the Corvallis Fall Festival, the Silverton Art Festival, the Coffeehouse Café, Sip, the Psalm Center, the Axtell Gallery, the Blue Pepper Gallery, Cascade Baking Co. and the Wild Pear. I am currently showing paintings at the Fussy Duck and Classic Hairstyling. I live in Salem, Oregon with my husband, Brad and our 1-year old son, Finn. We share our lives with two bullmastiffs, Bella and Peyton. I paint as often as I can, and I'm a full-time instructor at Chemeketa Community College in the Health and Human Performance Department. I have been selling my arwork since 2005 but have been painting for most of my life. I continue to impress my mom with my work, and that makes me smile.
