Food Art

When I had a show at the Wild Pear last year, they asked if I had any food art. I did not, so I thought I would give it a try. I did these four fruit and veggie paintings as my attempt. I had more fun that I would have imagined. They are 16" x 16" on 1" thick gallery canvas with oil. All but the veggie painting are for sale. The one with the pineapple is currently on display at Classic Hairstyling in Salem.

  2. Rice is a grain, the seed of a type of grass, which is the most widely pakistani rice and the most important source of dietary carbohydrate on Earth. Generally grown in flooded paddy fields to keep predators at bay, it can also be long grain rice in soil but then requires much more human intervention and pest control.
